A day at the heart of Paris' most emblematic districts.
With the Parisian Set lipstick collection, we invite you to discover the many facets of Paris on a walk through the emblematic districts represented by each shade.
A morning in Saint-Germain-des-Prés
Start your day with a walk through Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
Grab a coffee at the legendary Café de Flore (172 Boulevard Saint-Germain), once frequented by Sartre and de Beauvoir.
Then head to the Librairie L'Écume des Pages (174 Boulevard Saint-Germain) to discover some literary treasures, before heading to the charming Place de Fürstenberg, one of the most picturesque squares in Paris. Take time to visit the charming house/workshop of the painter Eugène Delacroix. From there, wander through the cobbled streets of Saint-Germain-des-Prés for a cultural and arty stroll through the art and design galleries of rue de Seine, rue des beaux-arts, rue Mazarine and rue Bonaparte. Not far away, the surprising Charvin colour factory, which has been on the Quai des Grands Augustins since 1830, is well worth a visit.
Head for the Jardin du Luxembourg, a haven of peace where you can relax and enjoy nature, with its rose garden, orangery and beehives.
On the way, stop off at the unusual Au plat d'Etain store on rue Guisarde. Here you'll discover antique toys and toy soldiers. Along the way, don't miss the fresco on rue Férou, which depicts Arthur Rimbaud's poem Le Bateau Ivre in its entirety over an area of 300 m².
At midday, Bouquinistes and Jardin des Tuileries
At midday, take a stroll along the quays of the Seine and explore the stalls of the Bouquinistes, where their boxes are waiting for you to discover treasures of old books and curiosities.
Continue to the Jardin des Tuileries, a breath of fresh air in the heart of Paris. Enjoy the floral beauty and tranquillity of the French garden. Admire the great classical sculptures that accompany the daydreams of the visitors.
Take the opportunity to visit the Musée de l'Orangerie (Jardin des Tuileries) and admire Claude Monet's Water Lilies, or take a gourmet break at Angelina (226 Rue de Rivoli) for an traditional hot chocolate served with fresh whipped cream.
Afternoon escapade in the heart of luxury
Take a detour via Rue de Castiglione to Place Vendôme and its identical facades. Admire the prestigious houses of haute joaillerie.
Next, walk through the arcades of Rue de Rivoli to Avenue Montaigne, famous for its Haute Couture houses.
Round off your day with dinner at the Relais Plaza (21 Avenue Montaigne), where you can enjoy refined French cuisine or dine in the Plaza Athénée bar. If you want to extend the evening, take in a performance at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées (15 Avenue Montaigne).
